Princess Natasha Dematra
Princess Natasha Dematra is an award-winning Indonesian humanitarian, peacebuilder, filmmaker, producer, author, public speaker, and cultural diplomat. She is the Founder of Peace20 (P20) and the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Visions of Peace Initiative (VOPI), an international nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting peace, tolerance, interfaith understanding, and youth empowerment through education, culture, and the arts.
Recognized internationally for her lifelong commitment to peacebuilding and humanitarian service, Princess Natasha has devoted her work to inspiring young people to become ambassadors of peace. Peace20
Princess Natasha is the Founder of Peace20 (P20), a global youth peace initiative launched during Indonesia’s G20 Presidency to amplify the voices of young people in building a more peaceful world.
Since its inaugural summit in Bali, Indonesia, Peace20 has continued its international journey to India, Brazil, South Africa, while also continuing to inspire young people throughout Indonesia.
In 2023, Princess Natasha officially opened Peace20 India, organized in collaboration with the United Nations, supporting India’s G20 Presidency and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals focusing on peace, justice, and strong institutions.
Through Peace20, thousands of young people across the world have participated in peace summits, cultural exchanges, educational forums, humanitarian initiatives, and peace pledges, empowering a new generation to choose dialogue over division and understanding over conflict.

Princess of Peace
Through years of dedication to peacebuilding, intercultural dialogue, humanitarian service, and youth empowerment, Princess Natasha has become widely known by many as the Princess of Peace.
In recognition of her lifelong commitment to advancing peace and humanity, she was formally honored with the title Princess of Peace by the Royal Palace of Klungkung, Bali.
Since a young age, Princess Natasha has been invited to speak at numerous national and international conferences, universities, peace summits, humanitarian forums, diplomatic gatherings, and cultural events. She has addressed audiences alongside world leaders and has engaged in dialogue with Presidents, ministers, ambassadors, diplomats, royal families, kings, queens, religious leaders, and international organizations, promoting understanding, cooperation, and peaceful coexistence across cultures and nations.
Her ability to connect people through dialogue and diplomacy has made her one of Indonesia’s most recognized young voices for peace.
Humanitarian Leadership
Beyond Peace20, Princess Natasha has founded and led numerous international initiatives dedicated to advancing peace and human dignity.
These include Youth for Peace, World Youth Peace Day, and her role as Secretary General of International Culture Day Worldwide Family, connecting organizations and communities across more than 150 countries.
Her humanitarian work extends beyond conferences into environmental advocacy, interfaith cooperation, education, women’s empowerment, cultural diplomacy, and youth leadership, reflecting her belief that sustainable peace must be built through collaboration, respect, and shared humanity.
Through the Arts
Princess Natasha believes that storytelling has the power to transform hearts, communities, and even nations.
As an internationally recognized award-winning film director, producer, actress, writer, editor, singer, songwriter, and photographer, she has dedicated her creative career to telling stories that inspire compassion, understanding, and hope.
Beginning her directing career at the age of eleven, she was recognized by Museum Rekor Dunia Indonesia (MURI) and Royal World Records as the Youngest Female Director in the World for a Feature Film.
Her productions including feature films, documentaries, books, music, and educational campaigns have received international recognition while addressing issues of peace, tolerance, human dignity, women’s rights, environmental protection, and social justice.
Her documentaries have also reached international audiences, including screenings at the United Nations Headquarters.
Among her best-known works is The Golden Rule: Do Unto Others…, which has been screened at more than 100 universities, schools, interfaith institutions, cultural centers, and public venues, reaching thousands of viewers. The documentary has inspired countless children and young people to embrace peace, respect, and understanding across religious and cultural differences. Many viewers have described it as “a film that could change nations,” recognizing its powerful message that peace begins with how we choose to treat one another.

International Recognition
Princess Natasha has received more than 300 national and international awards recognizing her contributions to peacebuilding, humanitarian service, leadership, filmmaking, music, environmental advocacy, cultural diplomacy, and youth empowerment.
Among her many honors are the Woman of the Year Award, Medal of Peace, Woman of Peace, Most Outstanding Personality, and the prestigious Lady Youth Award, presented during the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in New York.
She has also received numerous humanitarian, environmental, diversity, inclusion, and leadership awards from governments, royal institutions, universities, humanitarian organizations, and international institutions around the world.
In recognition of her contributions to peace, culture, and humanitarian service, Princess Natasha has received several royal honors and titles from Indonesian kingdoms, including Surakarta Hadiningrat, Pakualaman, Klungkung, Tallo, Blahbatuh, Samu-Samu, and other royal institutions.
She was also recognized by Femina Magazine as one of the world’s 50 Women Newsmakers, alongside distinguished women leaders, and has been honored in Indonesia as Modern Kartini for her contributions to humanitarian service, youth empowerment, and peacebuilding.
Education
Believing that learning is a lifelong responsibility of leadership, Princess Natasha has continually pursued academic and professional development through leading institutions around the world.
Her studies include programs from Harvard University, Harvard Kennedy School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), University of California, Berkeley, University of London, Leiden University, The University of Edinburgh, Berklee College of Music, Curtin University, and other internationally recognized institutions.

Continuing a Legacy
Princess Natasha grew up working closely alongside her late father, Prince KPAA Dr. Damien Dematra, internationally known as the Prince of Peace. From an early age, she accompanied him in humanitarian missions, peace initiatives, diplomatic meetings, cultural programs, and international conferences, learning firsthand that peace is built through humility, dialogue, compassion, and service to others.
Working side by side, they envisioned initiatives that would inspire future generations to embrace tolerance, understanding, and humanity.
Following his passing, Princess Natasha made a personal commitment to carry forward the mission her father devoted his life to, preserving its spirit while expanding its reach for future generations.
Today, she continues to lead international peace initiatives, strengthen intercultural dialogue, empower young leaders, and build bridges across cultures, religions, and nations through peace, education, diplomacy, humanitarian service, and the arts.
